We are calling for all children, parents, carers, and staff to cycle or scoot to school for 10 days from Monday 23rd April to Friday 4th May 2018.
Sustrans Big Pedal is the UK’s largest inter-school cycling and scooting challenge inspiring pupils, staff and parents to choose two wheels for their journey to school.
On each day, schools compete to see who can get as many of their pupils, staff and parents cycling or scooting to school. Your school’s best five days will determine your final position, but you can log journeys on all ten days if you wish.
For schools unable to take part in the main event we have a one-day challenge, which can include cycling and scooting activities in the school day as well as on the journey to school.
Schools that get over 15% of their pupils cycling or scooting to school will be entered into a prize draw.
Prizes include scooters and exciting stunt shows.
Children who ride or scoot to school will be entered into a prize draw. The winners will take part in the Regents Park Rally. They will be invited to spend an afternoon riding or scooting around the playground.
