Information about Y7 Secondary Transfer

Dear Parents/ Carers,

If your child is currently in Year 6 then you will be thinking about transfer from primary to secondary school education in September 2020. The local education authority co-ordinate secondary transfer admissions for all maintained schools and academies and you will find lots of information about this at their website: https://www.birmingham.gov.uk/info/20119/school_admissions

We know it is an important time for you and your child and would urge you to find out as much information as you can about local schools and how the admissions process works before you make your application. You can do so at the website above and by looking at the documents below on this page.

If you have any questions we will also try to help you. You can speak to Mr Beale, Miss Martin, Miss Paddem, Mrs Khan, Mrs Sarwar or any of the Year 6 class teachers.

Remember you have until 31st October 2019 to submit your application to the local authority.
