Regents Park Community Primary School is a vibrant, inclusive school that provides our children with the very best start in life. We are fortunate to work with children who are highly enthused and very keen to learn and a community who are supportive and friendly.  Our staff work hard and are dedicated to providing the highest quality teaching and learning for the children in our school.

The successful applicant will lead, manage and develop the curriculum areas of Geography and History across school.  This post will include a full and active role within the school’s Middle Leadership Team. You will be skilled in monitoring, evaluating and supporting teaching, learning and assessment across school.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, inspirational and enthusiastic leader with a commitment to achieving excellence for all children. The successful candidate will have a clear focus and understanding of what outstanding teaching and learning looks like, particularly in History and Geography.

In addition, you will be an excellent classroom practitioner with the commitment to inspire and make a genuine difference in the lives of the children that you teach.

Year group preferences for September 2023 are yet to be finalised; however, it is likely that a position would be available in either KS1 or KS2 for the most suitable candidate.

We are particularly looking for teachers who:

  • Are outstanding classroom practitioners.
  • Have high expectations of what all children can achieve.
  • Can build and maintain positive relations with children, parents and outside agencies.
  • Are committed to working as part of a team.
  • Support the aspirational ethos of the school.
  • Are dedicated to ensuring the overall wellbeing of all children.

We can offer:

  • Happy and wonderful children who are eager to learn.
  • A range of professional development opportunities with high quality support.
  • An opportunity to be creative and inspire pupils.
  • Dedicated and supportive staff, governors and parents.

Applications from experienced teachers are encouraged.  Candidates must meet all requirements of the person specification.

Visits to our school are most welcome and encouraged. We look forward to hearing from you.
