Year 4

Welcome to Year 4. This page will be used to provide parents and children with information about what we have been doing in school. You will find links to support with English and Maths and information about extra curricular activities. If you need to discuss anything about your child, you are always welcome to contact your child's teacher or Mrs Vara through the school's  enquiry email.

8:55 - 9:00 - Collective worship

9:00 - 9.45 - Reading

9.45 - 10:30 -  English

10:30 - 10.45 - Break 

10.45-11.00 - Handwriting/spelling

11:00 - 11:45 - Topic

11.45-12.30 - Lunch

12:30 - 12:40 - Independent reading

12.40-13.40 - Topic/Science

13:40 - 14:40 - Topic/PSHE

14:40 - 15:00 - Topic/ End of the day activity

P.E and Forest School- Please make sure children have the correct P.E. kit and warm suitable clothing for Forest School with a change of shoes.

PE and Forest School will take place every Wednesday for both classes.

Thursdays- Year 4 will have guitar lessons.

Computing-

4SA - Monday

4N - Friday

*Book change for children in year 4 will be on Wednesday. Please remind children to bring their book bags in everyday! Remember to practise reading at home. Make sure that children complete Accelerated Reader quizzes.

*Homework is set every Friday and must be completed by Wednesday. If your child has issues logging on or saving work, please inform the class teacher.
