KS2 Performance

KS2 Performance 2016

 

In May 2016, Year 6 pupils undertook their end of KS2 assessments. They sat tests in reading, maths and in grammar, punctuation and spelling. They were assessed by their teachers in writing. There were 61 pupils eligible to undertake the assessments in Year 6. Below are the results of these assessments:

 

Reading:

67% of pupils were at the Expected Standard (Scaled score of 100), above the National Average of 66%

Reading progress score -3.4, above the national floor target of -5.0

 

Grammar, punctuation and spelling:

77% of pupils were at the Expected Standard (Scaled score of 100), above the National Average of 72%

 

Maths:

74% of pupils were at the Expected Standard (Scaled score of 100), above the National Average of 70%

Maths progress score -1.3, above the national floor target of -5.0

 

Writing:

75% of pupils were at the Expected Standard above the National Average of 74%

Maths progress score -3.0, above the national floor target of -7.0

 

Overall:

54% of pupils achieved the Expected Standard in reading, writing and maths, below the national floor target of 65% but above the National Average of 53%

KS2 Performance 2015

 

In May 2015, Year 6 pupils undertook their end of KS2 assessments. They sat tests in reading, maths and in grammar, punctuation and spelling. They were assessed by their teachers in writing. There were 60 pupils eligible to undertake the assessments in Year 6. Below are the results of these assessments:

Reading:

88% of pupils achieved level 4 or above

27% of pupils achieved level 5 or above

81% of pupils achieved 2 levels progress or more in reading

 

Grammar, punctuation and spelling:

87% of pupils achieved level 4 or above

70% of pupils achieved level 5 or above

 

Maths:

88% of pupils achieved level 4 or above

38% of pupils achieved level 5 or above

93% of pupils avhieved 2 levels progress or more in reading

 

Writing:

90% of pupils achieved level 4 or above

32% of pupils achieved level 5 or above

98% of pupils avhieved 2 levels progress or more in reading

 

Overall:

80% of pupils achieved level 4 or above in reading, writing and maths

17% of pupils achieved level 5 or above in reading, writing and maths
