Reading Books

Home reading books can be changed any day of the week because we have Guided Reading after lunch every day.

1H has library book change on a Monday, 1A has library book change on a Wednesdaand 1R has library book change on a Monday and Wednesday.

Remember to bring your book bags into school every day!

We would encourage everyone to read as much as they can at home as confidence in reading helps with reading comprehension and with writing skills. Every child has been given a green reading journal where they need to write the books they are reading at home. Please write a comment about their reading and keep the journal in the book bag during the day so the class teacher can acknowledge what they have read.

Forest School

Your child will have the opportunity to experience outdoor learning in the Forest School and garden areas as part of their curriculum this year, Please make a note of the days which your child will need a change of outdoor clothes (as the weather is getting colder jumpers, leggings, tracksuits, coats, gloves and hats are best) which can get wet and muddy.
