Welcome to Year 4

This page will be used to provide parents and children with information about what we have been doing in school. You will find links to support with English and Maths and information about extra curricular activities. If you need to discuss anything about your child, you are always welcome to contact your child's teacher or Mrs Vara through the school's enquiry email.

8:30 - 8.55 - Start of the Day activity and registration
8:55 - 9:00 - Collective worship
9:00 - 9.45 - Reading
9.45 - 10:00 - Handwriting
10:00 - 10.45 - English
10:45 - 11.00 - Break
11.00 - 12.15 - Maths
12:15 - 13:00 - Lunch
13.00 - 13.10 - Reading for pleasure
13.10 - 14.30 - Topic
14:30 - 14:40 - Spelling/class book
14:40 - 15:00 - End of the day activity

P.E and Forest school (Wednesday) - Please make sure children have the correct P.E. kit

PE and Forest school will take place on Wednesdays.

Thursday - Year 4 will have guitar lessons.

Computing -

Computing will take place every Thursday afternoon for both classes.

*Book change for children in year 4 will be on Monday. Please remind children to bring their book bags in everyday! Remember to practise reading at home. Make sure that children complete Accelerated Reader quizzes once they have completed a book.

*Homework is set every Friday and must be completed by Monday. If your child has issues logging on or saving work, please inform the class teacher.
