Vision, Mission, Values

Our mission, ethos and values are at the heart of everything we do. They guide our teaching, shape our culture, and ensure that pupils leave Regents Park as confident, resilient and responsible citizens, well-prepared for the next stage of their education and for life in modern Britain.

Our mission statement is, 'Together, we learn, grow, and thrive.'

Our mission is to ensure that every child at Regents Park is known, valued, and supported to achieve their best:  academically, socially, and personally. We identify and address barriers to learning early, ensuring that every pupil, including those who are disadvantaged, those with SEND, and those who may face other challenges, receives the support they need to thrive. This means creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where learning thrives. 

Our ethos is rooted in collaboration and integrity. We hold ourselves accountable, we support one another, and we model the high expectations we want to see in our pupils.

Our work is also underpinned by a commitment to staff wellbeing and a healthy work–life balance. We know that when staff are supported personally and professionally, pupils achieve more and the whole school thrives. Fairness, consistency, and wellbeing are part of our ethos — ensuring everyone feels valued and able to manage the demands of their role successfully.

To live this mission and ethos daily, we embed our school values in all that we do:

• Belonging – Everyone belongs here. We include others and make our school a community.

Through our school values we also promote British values and pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development, preparing them to thrive as respectful, responsible, and active citizens.

Together, through consistency and collaboration, we create a culture where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to learn.
