KS2 Performance

KS2 Performance 2019

 

In May 2019, Year 6 pupils undertook their end of KS2 assessments. They sat tests in reading, maths and in grammar, punctuation and spelling. They were assessed by their teachers in writing. There were 89 pupils eligible to undertake the assessments in Year 6. Below are the results of these assessments:

 

Reading:

69% of pupils were at the Expected Standard (Scaled score of 100) or above. The National Average was 73%.

21% of pupils achieved the Higher Standard in the reading test. The National Average was 27%.

The reading progress score was 0.3, above the national average of 0.0

 

Grammar, punctuation and spelling:

82% of pupils were at the Expected Standard (Scaled score of 100) or above. The National Average was 78%.

43% of pupils achieved the Higher Standard in the GPS test. The National Average was 36%.

 

Maths:

72% of pupils were at the Expected Standard (Scaled score of 100) or above. The National Average was 79%.

20% of pupils achieved the Higher Standard in the maths test. The National Average was 27%.

The maths progress score was 0.2, above the national average of 0.0

 

Writing:

64% of pupils were at the Expected Standard. The National Average was 78%.

5% of pupils achieved the Greater Depth in writing. The National Average was 20%.

The writing progress score was -1.6, below the national average of 0.0

 

Overall:

56% of pupils achieved the Expected Standard in reading, writing and maths combined. The national average was 65%.

3% of pupils achieved the Higher Standard in reading, writing and maths combined. The national average was 11%.
