Today's lesson is all about rich vocabulary.
Read through the PDF power point on rich vocabulary.
Use the picture stimulus and allow your children to create some rich vocabulary. If they are using words like dark or bright encourage them to up level this vocabulary such as gleaming, dazzling etc...
If children are finding it hard to come up with vocabulary, let them use a thesaurus or www.wordhippo.com.
When they have came up with rich vocabulary, encourage children to write sentences about the pictures using the vocabulary they have come up with.
