Homework

Reading remains a skill that is highly important. Therefore, we expect year 5 children to read every night. (This can be a magazine, newspaper, book etc. Enjoyment is extremely important!) Don't forget your reading diary, which you can sign to acknowledge your child is reading!

There are also questions within the reading journal. These are useful to question your child as they read to develop their understanding of the text.
