We have been looking for signs of Spring and learning about the life cycle of the butterfly.

This week can they:

• talk about and draw the life cycle of the butterfly.
• talk about and draw a picture of the chicks we had in school.
• look out of a window and write or draw 5 things that they can see. This could lead to a game of I spy!
• discuss and name the 4 seasons.
• Draw pictures for each season.
• Focus on spring. Can they use the internet and find out more about spring?

The cut and stick activity is provided to give an example of the life cycle and provides images for the children to have a go at drawing. They can draw a picture of each stage and label the pictures.
