Starting January 2025 or as soon as possible

We require two KS1/ KS2 class teachers for vacant posts, initially in year 1 and year 3 from January 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter). One position is permanent and one will be to cover maternity leave for at least 12 months.

Regents Park is a highly regarded school, judged ‘GOOD’ in our most recent OFSTED inspection (December 2021).  OFSTED recognised that ‘leaders have high aspirations for all pupils at Regents Park Community Primary School’ and ‘pupils are proud of their school’.

Regents Park Community Primary School is a vibrant, inclusive school that provides our children with the very best start in life. We are fortunate to work with children who are highly enthused and very keen to learn and a community who are supportive and friendly.  Our staff work hard and are dedicated to providing the highest quality teaching and learning for the children in our school.

This is a perfect opportunity for a dynamic, talented and excellent classroom practitioner with the commitment to inspire and make a genuine difference in the lives of the children that you teach. The successful candidates must share our belief that there is no ceiling to what children can achieve and that consistently high-quality teaching and learning is the key to unlocking the potential in our young people.

We are particularly looking for teachers who:

  • Are outstanding classroom practitioners.
  • Have high expectations of what all children can achieve.
  • Can build and maintain positive relations with children, parents and outside agencies.
  • Are committed to working as part of a team.
  • Support the aspirational ethos of the school.
  • Are dedicated to ensuring the overall wellbeing of all children.

We can offer:

  • Happy and wonderful children who are eager to learn.
  • A range of professional development opportunities with high quality support.
  • An opportunity to be creative and inspire pupils.
  • Dedicated and supportive staff, governors and parents.

The successful candidates will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check; Childcare Disqualification (where applicable); qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work.  The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment.   An online search will also be carried out as part of due diligence on all short-listed candidates.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Informal visits are encouraged and can be arranged by contacting the school office.
