KS2 Performance

KS2 Performance 2025

 

In summer term 2025, Year 6 pupils undertook their end of KS2 assessments.

 

Below are the results of these assessments:

 

Reading:

79% of pupils were at the Expected Standard (scaled score of 100) or above. The National Average was 75%.

48% of pupils achieved a Higher Standard in the reading test (scaled score of 100 or above). The National Average was 33%.

The average scaled score for reading was 107. The National Average was 106.

 

Grammar, punctuation and spelling:

82% of pupils were at the Expected Standard or above. The National Average was 73%.

49% of pupils achieved the Higher Standard in the GPS test. The National Average was 30%.

The average scaled score for GPS was 104. The National Average was 105.

 

Maths:

84% of pupils were at the Expected Standard or above. The National Average was 74%.

23% of pupils achieved the Higher Standard in the maths test. The National Average was 26%.

The average scaled score for maths was 106. The National Average was 105.

 

Writing:

70% of pupils were at the Expected Standard. The National Average was 72%.

2% of pupils achieved the Greater Depth in writing. The National Average was 13%.

 

Overall:

69% of pupils achieved the Expected Standard in reading, writing and maths combined. The National Average was 61%.

2% of pupils achieved the Higher Standard in reading, writing and maths combined. The National Average was 8%.

KS2 Performance 2024

 

In summer term 2024, Year 6 pupils undertook their end of KS2 assessments.

 

Below are the results of these assessments:

 

Reading:

77% of pupils were at the Expected Standard (scaled score of 100) or above. The National Average was 74%.

32% of pupils achieved a Higher Standard in the reading test (scaled score of 100 or above). The National Average was 28%.

The average scaled score for reading was 106. The National Average was 105.2

 

Grammar, punctuation and spelling:

77% of pupils were at the Expected Standard or above. The National Average was 72%.

22% of pupils achieved the Higher Standard in the GPS test. The National Average was 32%.

The average scaled score for GPS was 104 The National Average was 105.3

 

Maths:

76% of pupils were at the Expected Standard or above. The National Average was 73%.

15% of pupils achieved the Higher Standard in the maths test. The National Average was 24%.

The average scaled score for maths was 104. The National Average was 104.4

 

Writing:

73% of pupils were at the Expected Standard. The National Average was 72%.

5% of pupils achieved the Greater Depth in writing. The National Average was 13%.

 

Overall:

66% of pupils achieved the Expected Standard in reading, writing and maths combined. The National Average was 61%.

4% of pupils achieved the Higher Standard in reading, writing and maths combined. The National Average was 8%.
