Regents Park School Choir

Our Regents Park School Choir is made up of children from Years 4, 5 and 6 and meets at lunchtimes on Tuesdays and/ or Thursdays from 1.00pm to 1.30pm.

We are really excited to announce that the Choir will be taking part in the Youth Proms Massed Choir at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham on Thursday 17th July at 7.00pm! The massed choir is made up of children from lots of schools around Birmingham. On the day, there will be around 400 children taking part alongside our choir as well as children from other schools performing in various orchestras and concert bands.

We hope as many parents and family members will come and watch the children in the choir take part on 17th July and see how amazing the children are, alongside many other talented singers and instrumentalists from across the city!

Please ensure that you select the correct evening, Thursday 17^th July, as the concerts are running over a series of nights, but your child is only performing on the Thursday (performers do not require a ticket).

Mr Beale will send out more information about tickets soon.

Tickets cost £15 and concessions are £10. There is a group discount of 15% of groups of 8 or over so do bring as many people as you can! Let Mr Beale if you’d be interested in buying tickets with other parents and he may be able to arrange this.

In the meantime, we are busy rehearsing the songs we will perform at the concert. The songs are all by Motown groups and will be performed as a medley.

To help your child to learn the songs and all the words, the backing music and lyrics are shared below so children in the choir can access them and practice at home too.
