Christmas Kindness

We are continuing to encourage our children to carry out acts of kindness and think of others this Christmas.

On Friday 16th December, children can wear Christmas Jumpers to school (or non-uniform). Any donations will be given to the Text Santa campaign.

Also, two of our Y6 children have decided to collect for the homeless and needy of Birmingham. They are asking for children to bring in donations of items such as clothing and toiletries (see letter below). This is a lovely gesture by two of our children and I hope you will be able to support and help.

Dear Parents /Guardians,

We have decided it would be a good idea to organise a fundraiser for the homeless and poor in Birmingham. We would appreciate your contribution of some items such as:

  • Deodorant-male/female
  • Flannel
  • Hairbrush/comb
  • Pocket tissues
  • Shampoo/conditioner(or dry shampoo)
  • Shower gel***
  • Soap
  • Toilet paper
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Wipes(face/hand/body-baby wipes)***

***= most requested items

Especially at this time of year, we would like it if you could donate some good quality items such as:

  • Gloves
  • Hats
  • Jumpers
  • Scarves
  • Socks
  • Sleeping bags
  • Blankets

We would be eternally grateful if you could donate these items before Friday 16th December. Your child/children will have to bring their donations to their classrooms and it will be picked up from there.

Yours sincerely,

Kaif Hussain 6G
