2. How will the SENCo ensure the necessary people know about my child’s needs?

The SENCO will make sure that all necessary school staff are aware of your child’s needs and worries

 

• Teachers, TAs, Learning Mentors and Parent Support Advisor will work together to identify needs of children. 

  The SENCO is in place to facilitate provision and resources.

• We will share information with relevant members of staff and external agencies.

• We will identify the right professional for the right need – supporting staff in identifying need.

• Lunchtime supervisors are included in training and updates regarding specific needs for identified pupils.

• We will ensure staff have access to SEN support plans.

• Quality First Teaching will ensure lessons, planning, curriculum and environment are differentiated and personalised.

• Appropriate levels of support will be in place to support individuals.
