Dear Parents,
We have the Travelling Book Fair in school from the 7th Feb – 18th February. This is an opportunity for the children to purchase their own book or books! The Book Fair will be open during the school day only.
A list of the books available have been sent home with your child. If your child would like to purchase a book/s, then please send them to school with the correct amount of money as we will have limited change. All money should be in a bag, labelled with your child’s name. We will allow cash payments for the Book Fair only during this period.
Your child will also be bringing home a World Book Day Voucher this week, which can be redeemed against any book of £2.99 or more from the Book Fair.
Thank you for your continued support.

Dear Parents
We are proud to be supporting Children’s Mental Health Week 2020 from Monday 7th February 2022 - Friday 11th February 2022. We are encouraging children to look after their bodies and minds, focussing on what we want to do and deal with difficult times. The focus of the week will be ‘growing together’. This will involve children finding positive ways to deal with things that might be difficult, overcoming physical and mental challenges and looking after themselves. Growing Together is about growing emotionally and finding ways to help each other grow. Challenges and setbacks can help us to grow and adapt and trying new things can help us to move beyond our comfort zone new possibilities. During the week, we will be raising the profile of positive mental health through a variety of activities and assemblies.
Friday 11th February will be non-uniform day. The theme is ‘dress to impress.’ Please can children use clothing from home to express themselves and donate £1.50 via squid. Children can should wear their favourite colour or a unique outfit to express how they’re feeling. It can be as simple as you like!
If you would also like any further information, Place2Be has created helpful advice and resources for parents and carers, which you can find on their website: https://www.place2be.org.uk/about-us/children-s-mental-health-week/
Thank you for supporting Children’s Mental Health Week 2022 and helping us to grow together!
Yours sincerely
