  • Parents Evening on Wednesday 1st October 2025

Wed 24 Sep 2025 Mrs Zamir

    Dear Parents/Carers,

I’m pleased to confirm that we are holding Parents’ Evening on Wednesday 1 October 2025 in the Drama Hall. This is an important opportunity for you to meet your child’s new class teacher, discuss how they have settled into the new school year, and check the contact details we have on file for your child(ren).

The link for booking appointments was shared with parents via text message on Monday 23 September at 4 pm. Please use this link to book a 5-minute slot with your child’s class teacher.

Parents’ Evening will begin at 3.15 pm, with the last admittance at 5.40 pm.

As always, we kindly ask that you arrive on time and keep within the 5-minute slot allocated, so that teachers can see all parents promptly.

    Guidelines for Parents’ Evening

    • We encourage children to attend with their parents, though please limit the number of other family members where possible.

    • Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your first appointment.

    • Entrance to the school site will be via the Dixon Road entrance only.

    • All parents will be expected to sign in on arrival.

    Booking deadline
The last day to book appointments online is Tuesday 30 September at 3.00 pm. After this time, the booking system will close. Appointments can then be arranged via the School Office. We encourage parents to book early to secure a slot at a convenient time.

    Book Fair

We are delighted that the Book Fair will also be running during Parents’ Evening. What better way to reward your children than with a new book? Please do take a look and support a love of reading.

If you experience any issues with booking or have not received the link, please contact the school office who will be happy to assist.

We look forward to welcoming you on Wednesday 1 October 2025!

    Kind Regards,

    Mrs Zamir
    Headteacher

  • This Week at Regent’s Park

Fri 19 Sep 2025 Mrs Zamir

It has been another busy and exciting week at school!

    • Our curriculum workshops were really well attended — thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us.

    • The Loudmouth session fro Year 6 parents and pupils and SEND coffee morning were very well received.

    • We had a fantastic response to our Family Learning sessions, with many parents signing up.

    • Year 5 and 6 pupils completed their Bikeability training, learning valuable cycling and road safety skills.

We were also pleased to welcome back an experienced headteacher and our pastoral support consultant, both of whom were full of praise for our children, staff and school — feedback that makes us very proud.

This week we also recruited two new governors, both passionate about education and community engagement, who will further strengthen our Governing Board.

Looking ahead, we are exploring opportunities for a half-termly community clear-up (a short Saturday morning event) to bring families and local partners together. We are also working with neighbouring schools, and the police to address the important issue of parking and congestion around our school gates.

    📢 Newsletters
You can find this week’s newsletter here: Newsletters | Regents Park Community Primary School. From next week, we will no longer be sending out hard copies — instead, parents and carers will receive a link to the newsletter online.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
